Under Arm Care

Most deodorant /antiperspirant you can buy in the store comes in plastic containers. More often than not they are thrown away once you are finished with them and another is bought in its place. In addition to the plastic being bad for the environment, like other containers the plastic can leach into your deodorant over time, and is then applied to sensitive underarms potentially causing harm to your body.
The good news is there are deodorant options out there that use no plastic.
These include:
-
Deodorant bars that you simply hold onto and rub on your underarms. Some have a layer of beeswax that can be used as a handle for those who do not want to touch their deodorant.
-
Deodorant that comes in a jar that you apply using your fingertips.
Another benefit to some of these types of deodorant is that they are made using more natural ingredients that are not harmful to your body. You can also easily make up a batch of homemade deodorant and fill your own jar/container.
Lush sells deodorant bars. Vita Health, Generation Green or Moksha Yoga studios carry deodorant in a glass containers.
